UK - Cardiff Metropolitan University which serves over 11,000 students across its Llandaff and Cyncoed campuses, has completed a major transformation of its teaching facilities with advanced audio technology from Sennheiser. As part of the university's strategic initiative to enhance hybrid learning capabilities, Sennheiser has successfully implemented its ceiling microphone systems and audio solutions throughout the institution's learning spaces.

Belgium - Change was the order of the day at the 2025 edition of Hype’O Dream. In addition to moving its schedule up a month earlier, the renowned dance festival had live band performances on stage for the first time in its 11-year history. The festival featured dance bands like Regi, The Subs and Compact Disk Dummies.

The festival organiser’s goal was to be true to their event’s original dance DNA. They accomplished this in no uncertain terms. India - Mahashivratri is a celebration that reaches far beyond religion. It is the largest and most significant celebration on India’s spiritual calendar. The festival celebrates the Grace of Shiva, who is considered the Adi Guru or the First Guru, from whom the Yogic tradition originates.

On the darkest night of the year, a massive celebration with around 200,000 attendees, took place at the Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore. The night was hosted by Indian guru and founder of the Isha Foundation, Sadhguru. Germany - In the heart of Kempten, one of Germany’s oldest towns, the historic Kornhaus building stands as a testament to Kempten’s rich heritage. The building recently underwent a significant renovation across six floors to transform it into a modern cultural and event hub for Kempten. At the centre of this ambitious transformation was the design challenge of integrating modern lighting and sound technology without compromising the building's timeless character. France - Spanning Mexico City, Los Angeles and Paris, and creating 30 concerts, Cercle Odyssey combined live music with real-time visuals, spatial audio, synchronicity and rich narrative. At the heart of this live, multisensory experience was Smode – powering generative visuals, compositing and playback in real-time across a massive projection surface.

The brainchild of French music platform Cercle, Odyssey was conceived as a new type of ‘nomadic’ concert – monumental in scale yet intimate in execution. Audience members entered a 2,300m² structure surrounded by 50m-wide and 12m-high screens on all sides with the artist placed at the centre. Every aspect of the show was designed to immerse the audience in a cohesive journey, from multi-layered audio and cinematographic visuals to the diffusion of specific scents.

Germany - The much-anticipated world premiere of the new Audi Q3 took place on 16 June at the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt, where lighting designer Chris Moylan of Sunrise Studios delivered a striking design using Elation’s Proteus and Pulse series fixtures, a look that matched the buzz of the premiere.

The unveiling, staged outdoors on the Audi Piazza, blended architectural elements with high-impact visual effects, creating a fittingly vibrant atmosphere for guests, employees, and media. Featuring a centre stage area encircled by a driving track with a ‘container city’ in each corner, the audience viewed the reveal from each side, as well as from the centre facing outwards. The expansive, five-storey building houses lecture halls, faculty offices, collaboration spaces and more. Six ‘feature’ lecture theatres were central to the development: Conveyor, Cave, Keystone, Collaboratorium, Cloud, and the flagship Arrow Group Innovation Hall (formerly known as the Campfire), which features a 360°-seating arrangement. Czech Republic - Czech rental company High Lite Touring supplied 50 x Robe MegaPointe moving lights for the main Love Stage at the 2025 Beats for Love festival, currently the largest electronic dance music festival in central Europe, staged annually at Ostrava in the Czech Republic at the former Dolní Vítkovice steelworks.

This year’s event saw a diverse line-up creating some high energy in this setting, steeped in industrial atmosphere.

The Netherlands - Neushoorn – Dutch for ‘rhinoceros’ – is a busy, buzzing and vibrant music venue in the heart of Leeuwarden, complete with two halls, a cafe area that’s also used as a performance space, rehearsal rooms and studios, plus strong educational ties with local vocational college, Firda, which focuses on music, drama, theatre and the arts, running both technical and creative courses.

USA - The city of Anaheim in California has unveiled an upgraded lighting system that enhances the city’s natural and architectural landscape, powered by technology from Pharos Architectural Controls.

At night, rows of palm trees lining Anaheim’s streets glow with custom RGBW LED uplights, while nearby monuments are brought to life with internal LEDs. USA - JBL Professional, in partnership with Spectrum Sound and Athey Creek Church, delivered concert-quality sound for the first-ever PDX Crusade at Portland’s Moda Centre. The large-scale worship and evangelism event drew thousands of attendees and featured performances on Saturday by Cain, Taya, Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, with Anne Wilson, Chris Tomlin, and Zach Williams closing the event on Sunday.

Planning for the PDX Crusade began nearly 18 months ago, with Athey Creek Church envisioning a two-day gathering to share a message of hope with the Portland community. Athey Creek’s congregation has grown into the tens of thousands, and hosting an evangelistic outreach event for the community required a much larger venue.

With a capacity of nearly 20,000, the Moda Centre was a suitable choice but also raised production demands to the level of a maj
