UK - Holotronica, the Bristol-based holographic effects specialist, is set to celebrate the opening of its new studios at Church House in the village of Long Ashton. The restored stone building, originally constructed in 1907, will serve as both a large, revitalised event space and as a creative hub with office/studios available to rent on the lower ground floor.

The new facility includes a large hall and stage designed for showcasing Holotronica’s Hologauze products, as well as a dedicated research and development studio for their holographic FX systems.

UK - The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London, has recently installed a Wharfedale Pro WLA-1A System as part of a new audio upgrade. The project was delivered in partnership with Stage Concepts, following a successful on-site demonstration of the WLA-1A System in November 2024.

Part of Royal Museums Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum is one of the world’s leading centres for maritime history and heritage, hosting a wide range of public and corporate events across its historic site.

Following the demonstration, the museum’s team agreed that the WLA-1A System was the right fit for their requirements. The final installation includes14 × WLA-112A / WLA-115A, two WLA-121SUBA and eight WLA-1 Common Fly Frame.

Qatar - PRG has announced the expansion of its Middle East operations into the State of Qatar.

This move builds on PRG’s delivery of major events in the region, including the FIFA Fan Festival, World Aquatics Championships, and the AFC Asian Cup opening ceremony. PRG sees Qatar as ‘a vital market for its continued regional growth’.

Saudi Arabia - The Esports World Cup (EWC) AFT_r Concerts 2025 pushed the boundaries of live entertainment in the Middle East this summer, boasting a diverse lineup of international superstars and regional talent at the 8,000 capacity ANB Arena in Riyadh.

Delivered by integrator Creative Technology Middle East (CTME) for entertainment company MDLBeast, the production combined LED technology, sophisticated media systems, and advanced lighting design to create an immersive visual and audio experience. Europe/USA - Green Hippo recently integrated Stage Precision’s SPNet protocol into its Hippotizer media server products, expanding the capabilities of both hardware and software offerings.

“Together with the product manager, we determine the direction of the product: what to add and why,” explains Zep Mouris, Hippotizer product architect at Green Hippo. “The product manager focuses on the user point of view, whilst I focus on the tech point of view and help the developers implement the features we need to offer the most value. Romania - The Cocor Shopping Centre in Bucharest has unveiled a major upgrade to its massive digital signage display. The installation, a well-known feature of the city's urban landscape, has been revitalised with LED technology from Absen.

This landmark project was executed by local AV integration firm, Eltek. The project has transformed the facade, upgrading its visual performance, energy efficiency, and operational reliability to meet modern standards of performance.

For years, the Cocor’s LED system, based on older technology, had become difficult and expensive to maintain. The system's high energy consumption and frequent technical issues made it inefficient and unable to support modern visual digital campaigns. Additionally, the outdated content management system lacked modern automation features, further limiting its capabilities.

France - On 15 April 2019, a world-famous religious building was engulfed in flames, destroying its spire and roof and causing significant damage to the cathedral's altar, pipe organs, 13th-century rose windows and many religious relics. Five years later, on 7 December 2024, after what is described as one of the most ambitious and extensive house of worship reconstruction projects in modern history, the Notre-Dame de Paris officially reopened.

Appointed as the lead integrator for this momentous job, Novelty Paris handled the vast majority of the integration work, seeking critical support from its sister company De Préférence for fine-tuning and acoustic optimisation, and the wider Groupe Novelty companies to undertake the challenge of equipping the religious monument with a sophisticated and fully integrated audiovisual infrastructure.

Capturing the attention of a global audience with a vibrant blend of live performance, dynamic lighting, and large-scale video, to welcome and excite athletes and guests.

The ambitious production was broadcast live on German television and streamed internationally, requiring reliability and seamless integration.
