World - Powersoft has announced two new appointments: Alessandro Bizzarri joins the company as marketing communications specialist, while Sofian Osman takes on the role of solutions engineer for south-east Asia.

Noerens, who joins the company from LSC’s Benelux distributor, Controllux in Belgium, is an experienced theatre lighting professional, having spent almost 30 years as a freelance lighting designer and operator. His career has also included spells at AC Lighting (now AC Entertainment Technologies) in London and Barndoor BVBA in Belgium.

He has also held lighting and management roles at renowned venues such as Ancienne Belgique and The Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, as well as the theatre and music centre in Kortrijk, among others.
