USA - Hammons Field, home of the Springfield Cardinals, has a new way to get fans on their feet with an upgraded audio system featuring EAW loudspeakers, designed and installed by audio, video, and lighting (AVL) integrator Paragon 360. The result is a powerful, crystal-clear sound experience that covers every seat in the house. 

Hammons Field is a 6,750-seat minor league baseball stadium with an additional 2,500 general admission spots and serves as the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The venue also hosts the Missouri State University Bears and features fan-favourite spaces like the Coca-Cola Redbird Roost, the SpringNet Champions Club, a spacious main concourse, private suites and new third-level executive suites.

UK - Based in Clapham, South London, Seven Lion Yard is a holistic health and well-being centre providing comprehensive psychological and wellbeing services to address both mind and body under one roof. The four-storey facility which opened in 2024 includes consulting and treatment rooms, and a large top floor studio.

The interior design, focused on calm, restoration, and relaxation, characterises the building, although following the centre’s opening, its team became aware of the need to combat the reverberant effects of its high ceilings and reflective surfaces. The acoustic properties of the centre’s spaces were detrimental to discreet one-on-one therapies and group activities. The Netherlands - Immediately after receiving the first production batch of the new KL CYC light at Elation’s European headquarters in Kerkrade, Bert Schmeits, Elation’s key account manager Benelux, and Dutch distributor Rolight decided to find a suitable venue to test the new fixture. The Wilminktheater in Enschede, conveniently located in the same city as Rolight, provided the ideal stage to put the KL CYC through its paces.

“We were given access to the stage at the Wilminktheater to experiment with the new cyc light,” Schmeits explained. “In order to properly assess how the fixtures behave when multiple units are placed next to each other, I brought four of them with me.”

Belgium - De Roma – originally Kinema Roma – is one of Antwerp’s best-known and loved music venues and has recently added new Robe moving lights to its house rig, comprising 12 x LEDBeam 150s, 12 x LEDBeam 350s and 24 x TX1 PosiProfiles, all specified by lighting technicians Hans Lodewijckx and Roy Nonneman, and supplied by Controllux, Robe’s Benelux distributor.

The venue’s art deco building in the lively Borgerhout area of the city was designed by Alphonse Pauwels and originally constructed in 1927, opening as a 2,000-seat cinema, then the largest in Antwerp. USA - Situated at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro, The Murphy Centre - home to the university’s men's and women's basketball and track teams - recently commissioned a new Martin Audio WPS line array system, after a long gestation period, dating back several years.

UK - When Nottingham Trent University opened its new London campus, the goal was to give students access to real-world, working environments. That meant building an AV infrastructure capable of supporting everything from live music and content creation to eSports and broadcasting.

Luc Saint Martin, technical manager for the site, was responsible for making it all work. “We run a mix of courses - music performance, production, broadcast, digital content. Spain - To mark Zara’s 50th anniversary, British artist and designer Es Devlin was invited to create a gift for the city where the brand was born: a 20-minute immersive experience housed in a newly reimagined dome at the top of Mount San Pedro in A Coruña, Spain. 50 Songs of the Sea, open to the public from July through October, invites guests into a custom-built environment that blends film, music, poetry, and kinetic architecture, all framed by a fully immersive sound experience designed by Auditoria.

USA - The Conference Centre, the premier meeting hall for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, has invested in 85 Robert Juliat Dalis 864 footlights with a four-colour mixing system to enhance performances in the 21,000-seat auditorium.  ACT Entertainment is the exclusive distributor of Robert Juliat lighting in North America.

“We purchased eight of the white version Dalis 862 LED asymmetrical footlights about 10 years ago and have had zero problems with them, so we decided to buy additional units of the colour version,” explains Braden Howard, Lighting Specialist III, who serves as the resident lighting designer at The Conference Centre. Canada - Canada’s first Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has officially opened its doors - and from the moment guests step out of their cars, the sound system is already setting the stage.

On the exterior of the building, guests are welcomed by a full setup of 1 Sound’s Cannon C6 marine speakers that are colour-matched to the exterior. UK - Having first opened in 2003, Thornden Hall Arts Centre provides support for the Performing Arts Departments in Thornden School, as well as playing host to local amateur groups and professional companies. This multi-purpose venue has a capacity of 386 and its versatility means it can be readily adapted for music, dance, drama, conferences, presentations and cinema. In addition, there are specialist music, drama and dance studios, as well as a foyer and licensed bar.

In recent years, the venue decided to upgrade the traditional tungsten fixtures within its main performance space to LED technology – a process that has been supported by Solutions On Stage.
