Denmark - The recently constructed Fun Art Blokhus in North Jutland is an indoor and outdoor activity centre which brings together a wide variety of activities under one umbrella. This multifunctional site, with its emphasis on smart technology and sustainability, uses its numerous spaces to maximum effect, offering everything from trampolining, mini-golf, and art classes, to a busy programme of concerts and exhibitions.

Integrator Profox was engaged to supply and install all the venue’s technical requirements, including the audio system for its main auditorium. Poland - Powersoft’s Mover haptic technology provided the foundation for a bold reimagining of Bania Music Club, a popular nightclub and entertainment venue at the four-star Hotel Bania Thermal & Ski resort in southern Poland.

USA - For over 40 years, the DCU Centre in Worcester, MA has been a central hub for live entertainment in New England, drawing millions of fans for everything from hockey games to concert tours. Belgium - The historic Théâtre Royal du Parc in Brussels, one of the city’s oldest theatres, has ushered in a new era of lighting with the installation of a modern Elation lighting system. The new rig, supplied by Belgian AV specialists XLR, includes dynamic ellipsoidal, moving head, and cyc lights, bringing new possibilities and consistent colour performance to the venue’s stage.

Spain - Mallorca’s Bierkönig at Ballermann has been setting new standards in lighting and event technology since the opening of its newly created event area. The German event technology service provider RheinlandAkustik is in charge of the lighting design for the modernised area in the popular party location on the island. At the heart of the concept is a comprehensive lighting technology set-up based on more than 300 Cameo lights.

Belgium - A new identity has been unveiled for Antwerp’s Central Station with an illumination scheme, controlled by a system from Pharos Architectural Controls.

Antwerp Central Station, inaugurated in 1905, is an architectural highlight of the Belgian city. Known as the ‘Railway Cathedral’, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. Influenced by the Belgian art nouveau movement, the station features a 75m high dome sitting atop the main hall, with a 44m high arched glass roof covering the tracks.

Throughout the year it will present an extensive and eclectic arts and entertainment programme comprising music, comedy, talks, exhibitions, theatre, live video-gaming, and exhibitions. Set across four floors, Loading Bay includes a theatre, gallery, multi-format basement room, as well as an outside courtyard space.

USA - Sennheiser has announced that PGA Tour Studios recently deployed the new Spectera bidirectional wireless audio ecosystem across its new campus in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

The PGA Tour Studios audio team required a system that could not only support a state-of-the-art facility that houses seven dedicated studios, but also seamlessly manage up to 11 shows broadcasting simultaneously in an environment that would be packed with competing RF signals.

The new system needed to offer effortless transitions between studios and a dramatically simplified management interface. China - The Dongting Lake Museum in Yueyang City has taken its visitor experience to new heights with a full-scale sound system installed across all exhibition areas, including its immersive underground ‘5D Theatre’. Designed by Wharfedale Pro's consultant Marko Jovanović and installed by Minghe Group, the system delivers immersive-ready audio that complements the theatre’s array of visual mapping, water effects, moving machinery and lighting.

Covering an expansive 50,864 sqm, the Dongting Lake Museum showcases the rich history and biodiversity of Dongting Lake. At the heart of the museum's underground level is an advanced 5D theatre, which spans 900 sq.m and accommodates approximately 200 guests. UK - Formed in 1947 above a butcher’s shop in the town centre, Macclesfield Amateur Dramatic Society (MADS) was created with one main purpose – to foster and promote theatre in Macclesfield by giving local people the opportunity to perform on stage. Fast forward almost 80 years and the Society is still going strong, having now produced over 250 main season productions, along with several one act shows, studio pieces as well as festival entries.

Since 1954, MADS’ home has been a purpose-built ‘Little Theatre’ situated on Lord Street and has been upgraded accordingly over the years; now even boasting a bar and lounge area. Following a mechanical inspection conducted by Solutions On Stage, the company was asked to carry out some remedial works within the theatre’s main performance space – to ensure it was safety compliant.

USA - A significant installation of tvONE CORIOmaster video processors at the Virginia Tech State University has transformed how students learn, and lessons are taught.

Four distinct areas within the institution’s Alexandria campus now feature LED screens, projections or displays driven by a range of CORIOmaster2, CORIOmaster mini, and CORIOmaster micro units. The project is part of a wider upgrade of projector screens, LED video walls and TVs.

Mexico - The new Lavo restaurant in Mexico City marks another collaboration between 1 Sound and Tao Group, with this project and the recent Lavo Las Vegas coming to life around the same time. As the group expands globally, that audio has become a brand standard - one that prioritises clarity, design, and the guest experience. 1 Sound systems help bring this to life.

For this space, integrator NTX turned to the Cannon Series for distributed coverage. A total of 30 Cannon C5i loudspeakers were installed throughout the venue, chosen for their high output in a compact form and their ability to deliver clean, intelligible sound even at low levels.
