Norway - Known as Norway’s Fairytale Park, Hunderfossen is an award-winning tourist destination, welcoming more than 250,000 visitors each summer with over 60 family attractions. The park recently unveiled its newest adventure, Musikkfabrikken (The Music Factory), an interactive exploration of classical music that blends visual art, animated characters, and a sound system powered by Genelec Smart IP loudspeakers.

Housed in an unused 4D cinema, Musikkfabrikken was developed by Sigurd Slåttebrekk, a Norwegian classical pianist and professor of piano – who worked with Hunderfossen and the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra – to make classical music more accessible and exciting for adults and children alike.

UAE - Assistive listening manufacturer, Contacta, has supplied more than 500 of its hearing loop systems for a major project to enhance hearing accessibility at Dubai International (DXB). The 520 systems have been installed throughout the airport's three terminals by Contacta's regional GCC partner, Topland.

Work on the project has been ongoing since 2023 and forms part of the airport’s ambition to ensure that every passenger experiences accessible and inclusive travel. It is also in line with Dubai’s Universal Design Code which aims to ensure buildings and transportation are accessible to everyone according to their need.

USA - Bespoke Technology Group and audio manufacturer 1 Sound have collaborated to bring a striking sound system to Evelyn, a newly opened steakhouse and lounge in Dallas’ Design District. Inspired by Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, the venue features seven different rooms, each with its own distinct atmosphere.

From the start, sound was a central design priority. UK - Academy Music Group (AMG) has revealed a major investment at its West London venue, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. These recent improvements are the latest in a continuous programme of upgrades planned by the company to ensure its venues are at the forefront of the industry.

USA - Staten Island’s landmark St. George Theatre performing arts venue recently invested in 33 Ayrton Khamsin fixtures and 11 Ayrton Huracán Washes for its latest equipment upgrade. ACT Entertainment is the exclusive distributor of Ayrton lighting fixtures in North America.

The 1,900-seat St. George Theatre opened in 1929 as a movie and vaudeville house whose interior, in a mix of Spanish and Italian Baroque styles, rivalled many Broadway theatres. It was renovated in 2004 and has been hosting educational programmes, architectural tours, television and film shoots, concerts, comedy, Broadway touring companies and children's shows and is noted for its acoustics.

UK - Since relocating its hi-tech studio in Bath closer to Bristol, Distiller Music has taken the opportunity to develop a spatial environment, building on the legacy of its historic use of Martin Audio speakers.

As the former Distillery I space has made way for the new upgraded Distillery II - a fully-rigged, adaptive environment for rehearsal, recording, performance and production - it has added Martin Audio CDD-LIVE 8 to the pre-existing Torus PA rig, processed through an Airsound spatial system.

In its latest incarnation, the studio has opted to make the facility commercially available for use by recording, film, music video and content producers, after previously being for private recording use only - with no live facility.

Germany - In the heart of Kempten, one of Germany’s oldest towns, the historic Kornhaus building stands as a testament to Kempten’s rich heritage. The building recently underwent a significant renovation across six floors to transform it into a modern cultural and event hub for Kempten. Canada - The University of Toronto Scarborough, established in 1964, is one of the top-ranked universities in Canada. The institution prides itself on finding new ways to create environments in which students can thrive, and their recently built Sam Ibrahim Building is central to this ethos.

The expansive, five-storey building houses lecture halls, faculty offices, collaboration spaces and more. Six ‘feature’ lecture theatres were central to the development: Conveyor, Cave, Keystone, Collaboratorium, Cloud, and the flagship Arrow Group Innovation Hall (formerly known as the Campfire), which features a 360°-seating arrangement. The Netherlands - Neushoorn – Dutch for ‘rhinoceros’ – is a busy, buzzing and vibrant music venue in the heart of Leeuwarden, complete with two halls, a cafe area that’s also used as a performance space, rehearsal rooms and studios, plus strong educational ties with local vocational college, Firda, which focuses on music, drama, theatre and the arts, running both technical and creative courses.

Mexico - Tucked into a quiet residential block of Colonia Condesa, in Mexico City, OWL Hidden Bar inhabits what was once the storage space of a former restaurant. At just 102sq.m, its discreet footprint captures the spirit of a hidden bar – secrecy, intimacy, and the thrill of discovery.

Inspired by 1920s speakeasies, the project reimagines Art Deco geometry through a contemporary lens. A monolithic brass bar anchors the space, functioning as both centrepiece and stage. Around it, illuminated textiles and warm finishes balance brass, wood, concrete, and fabric, setting the scene for a night that shifts seamlessly between calm conversation and lively music.

USA - Located in downtown Miami, Gale Hotel Miami is a 51-story architectural landmark offering a blend of boutique hotel comfort, upscale condo living, and culinary haven, complemented by a wellness centre complete with a spa. Guests can indulge in a variety of dining experiences on the 9th floor, offering vistas of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.

Gale Hotel Miami hired Interlink Group to design the audio systems for the two restaurants on the 1st floor and the three restaurants on the 9th floor. Chile - When the Chilean Army inaugurated the Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Carmen (Our Lady of Mount Carmel) in Santiago de Chile in July 2025, the event marked the consecration of the country’s first institutional church, serving as a spiritual home for service members and their families. With its soaring laminated wood arches, 14 stained-glass windows, and expanded 300-seat capacity, the new church was a symbol of faith and national identity, but it also presented a major acoustic challenge.

With a reverberation time of 4.5 seconds, even the most solemn words of the liturgy quickly became blurred, leaving parishioners disconnected from key moments of worship. UK - St Michael’s Abbey is a small monastic community in Hampshire where Benedictine values and worship have been observed and preserved since the Abbey’s foundation in 1895. Living a traditional life of prayer, work and study, the community of monks at Saint Michael’s welcomed a recent upgrade of the Abbey’s AV, IT and security systems, a project led by specialist systems integrators Whitwam AVI.

Spain - As one of Ibiza’s best-known clubs, Amnesia has built a reputation for having quality sound. Since opening in 1976, it has hosted many of the world’s leading electronic music artists, establishing itself as a cornerstone of Ibiza’s club scene.

Spain - The Sagunto Roman Theatre, an open-air venue with over 2,000 years of history, has chosen to modernise its stage lighting with nine Ayrton Rivale Profile units, exclusively distributed in Spain by Stonex.

Every summer, this space hosts Sagunt a Escena, a festival that brings together theatre, music, and dance in front of thousands of spectators. Indonesia - Holywings is an Indonesian lifestyle and entertainment group with a varied selection of bars, clubs and live music venues, spread across the island’s key cities.

Many of the venues under the Holywings banner feature Martin Audio solutions, provided and installed by partner, GMT Group.
