The much anticipated Titan V10 OS features a wealth of new features. USA - BlackTrax, the real-time motion tracking solution from CAST, assists the star of Magic Reinvented Nightly in creating one-of-a-kind experiences for nightly audiences at the LINQ Theater at The LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

"We implemented the BlackTrax system for a consistent angle of key light on the magician throughout the 90-minute show," enthuses Stephen Terry, the production's lighting designer.

In the design phase, follow spots were discussed originally, but the LINQ Theater had very limited locations for follow spots. The angle from the booth position is very flat, so following the talent solely from this position was not an option. As the talent performs a lot of his illusions out in the house, close up to the audience, so IMAG is used via the screens onstage.

UK - As soon as the excitement of the 2016 BRIT Awards presentations finished at London's O2 Arena, the buzz continued through the night at the Warner Music's extravaganza.

Staged at the Freemason's Hall in Covent Garden, the full technical and creative production was delivered by Maestra London, led by Justin Hammond, production designer Jenny Woollard, project & event manager Aisha Tarayan and technical managers Adam Jones and Edwin Higgins, working closely with event designer Jason Morais from Warner Music, turning his vision into a reality.

The scope of Maestra London's work at Freemason's Hall included supplying all the technical infrastructure - set, lighting, rigging, audio and all the scenics and décor - including carpeting, furniture, drapage and soft-goods, co-ordinating the colours, styles and all the aesthetics to create five dynamically different spaces

South Africa - Bollywood Dhamaka at Gandhi Hall raised money for a fund that furthers the education of economically disadvantaged children in the city of Lenasia by providing them with scholarships to the city's prestigious Royal Achievers Private School. The event not only served a good cause, it also enthralled its audience with a beguiling dance performance, accented by an equally intricate lightshow created with fixtures from Chauvet Professional that were imported by Audiosure.

Lighting designer Shaniel Laloo of Sounds Ideal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, used 18 Rogue moving fixtures to add depth and texture to the dance stage with lush colour washes and multiple gobo patterns. Italy - This is Jovanotti's year, with extraordinarily successful record sales and a triumphant tour, Lorenzo negli Stadi, which dominated the 2015 summer season and thrilled and captivated 500,000 fans.

Now the equally innovative Lorenzo nei Palasport 2015-2016 is on track. The new show was conceived, designed and written specially for indoor venues, and kicked off on 19 November in Rimini.

All the scenery revolves around Lorenzo during the show. The set, the totally new videos and films, and the lights are combined together into a parallel show, integrated with the music.

Set designer Giancarlo Sforza created a new asymmetrical stage, whose shape recalls the expected outcome of the detonation of an explosive charge. Part of the stage juts out into the stalls, where Lorenzo can come into direct contact with the audience.

UK - Over 150 Core ColourPoint Mk 2 wireless LED uplighters provided by Wireless Lighting were used by the creative team from Maestra Events to illuminate all areas of the high profile Warner Music BRITs 2016 after-party at Freemason's Hall in Covent Garden.

Maestra designed and instigated the Warner Music event's lighting scheme, working closely with event designer Jason Morais, creating five distinctive areas within the charismatic building, providing all the technical production and décor needed to energise a series of lively, visually stimulating spaces for relaxation and enjoyment.

UK - Lighting designer Jeff Maker was looking for a special lighting effect to complement a series of diamond-shaped video screens for American pop punk band All Time Low's Back to the Future Hearts UK tour in February and found it in Elation Professional's ACL 360 Bar moving head batten.

"Their role was to frame four diamond-shaped video walls rigged upstage as well as to help trick the eye into transforming the diamonds into circles or squares," explained Maker, who has worked with the band for the past seven years. "Since all four of the diamonds moved into different static positions during songs, the ACL 360 Bar was perfect for creating new looks for each new position."

All Time Low scored a UK Number 1 album with release of Future Hearts in 2015 and the string of February arena dates was highly anticipated by its growing fan base in the UK.

Recently setting out on his latest tour across the United States, the crew behind him is working night after night to bring the biggest show possible through a new design by lighting designer Mike Marcario and production manager Norwood Wood.

To create the show needed, the production team called upon longtime tour provider Elite Multimedia who not only provided a gear list filled with the latest lighting technology, but also developed a custom set cart design to carry it all along the way.

USA - Before appearing at the Webster Bank Arena for his Valentine's Day concert, Marc Anthony made a stop to receive the keys to Connecticut's largest city. Like many of the honours bestowed on the multi- Grammy winner since he launched his career in 1988, the keys presented by Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim were in recognition not just of Anthony's musical achievements, but also of his well-known humanitarian work.

As Mayor Ganim and the fans who would fill the 10,000-seat arena later that evening appreciated, the artist performing on Valentine's Day in their city was one whose impact extends far beyond the concert stage. This point was vividly and dramatically illustrated at the very start of Anthony's show by an artful lighting display created by the superstar's production manager Roly Garbalosa and designer Alex Soto using Nexus Aw 7x7 panels from Chauvet Professional.

UK - Beyond the Fence is a landmark piece of theatre, being the first musical ever to be conceived and crafted entirely by computer. The show has been modelled on a study of the most successful hit musicals and features a talented cast performing alongside computer-generated material. UK - American pop-punk fusion band All Time Low toured five of Britain's biggest arenas in February, stunning fans with a bigger, brighter and more powerful lighting show by Jeff Maker using his Avolites Sapphire Touch console.

All Time Low scored a UK number one album in 2015 with Future Hearts, elevating them to arena status with legions of new fans. Their long time lighting designer Maker responded by conceiving a sense of the design "being alive, to achieve the ultimate engaging experience for the audience".

USA - It was Nashville's turn to host the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, and the four-day event in Music City was packed with enough star power on and off the ice to excite thousands of hockey fans. Morris, formerly known as Morris Light and Sound, was charged with conceptualizing and executing the audio and lighting installations and providing 24/7 production management at five venues during the weekend. Morris deployed grandMA2 consoles at three of the locations.

Matt Geasey, visuals department manager at Morris, and his team oversaw the lighting design, 3D rendering and equipment specifications for multiple activities. Ukraine - More than 200 Clay Paky fixtures have delivered an extraordinary light show at one of the Ukraine's biggest televised events of 2015, The M1 Music Awards.

The event, which took place at the Palais des Sports in Kiev and was produced by the M1 Music Channel, saw a large gala-style concert with performances from the country's biggest pop stars.

Russia - Nestled in the central square of Izhevsk, Russia, the Tchaikovsky State Theatre of Opera and Ballet recently underwent a massive renovation in preparation for the 175th anniversary of Tchaikovsky's birth. For nearly two years, the theatre was closed for the upgrade, which included a modern makeover of its stage technology, conducted by ETC dealer Imlight. Last year, the theatre reopened with a new ETC lighting system.
