Germany - The Coemar ParLite Led is now available with new white LEDs. The quest for a natural white LED has been the subject of extensive research by the automobile and architecture industries. This work has made it possible for Coemar to offer a world premiere for the entertainment industry: VariWhite, a product which is compact, bright, high-yield, and affords significant energy savings, says the company.

The resulting brightness is comparable to a traditional 650W Fresnel, while consuming only 5% of the energy. But the real news is it is now possible to vary colour temperatures from 2700 K to 3500 K without losing brightness.

This is a standard feature of the ParLite Led VariWhite and enables compensating for light contamination in the area in need of illumination: for example, maintaining the desired light temperature on a performer's face through the difficulties of ambi

Denmark - Martin Professional's compact MAC 101 LED moving head wash is now available in three white light versions that expand its use to applications where high quality, pure white light is needed.

The new variants incorporate cold and/or warm LEDs instead of RGB for a better white light quality and greater output. Ideal for highlighting skin tones, textiles, or set pieces, the MAC 101 white light variants are already finding use in touring applications as a front light, main light, blinder or beam effect.

The MAC 101 CT allows for easy changes in colour temperature from crisp cold looks to warm shades, and features simple intensity control. Each MAC 101 CT is colour temperature calibrated to ensure a high quality of white light and visual consistency across fixtures, a uniformity in light output that allows for seamless overlapping of beams on large stage and set areas.

Belarus - FE Belimlight recently rigged the huge Minsk Arena (home rink of ice hockey stars HC Dinamo) with moving heads from PR Lighting to enable an audience of 12,000 people to experience the full dynamic of Swedish pop music duo Roxette.
