Yamaha is inviting European residents to help celebrate the anniversary by sharing (or taking) photographs of Yamaha digital consoles in the most interesting and entertaining settings over the past 25 years. Photographs do not need to be perfectly composed or works of art, what we are looking for is innovative photos of consoles 'in action' which capture the moment.
The competition runs from 1 September until 31 December 2011, with a celebrity judge choosing the winning photographs in January. The winning photographer will receive a Yamaha LS9-32digital mixing console; 23 runners-up will win a Yamaha POCKETRAK digital recorder.
A special 25th prize will be chosen from the 10 most 'liked' entries published on Yamaha Commercial Audio Europe's Facebook page. From those, a select panel of audio industry experts will choose the winner of this prize, a Yamaha MCR-040 portable hi-fi system.
