Europe - tarm Professionals Luminaires has unveiled the Revolt, a new hybrid moving head featuring a white-light laser source capable of producing ‘razor-sharp beams over vast distances or a broad, uniform wash effect’. The fixture boasts an IP66 rating, making it suitable for outdoor applications.
The tarm Revolt achieves an impressive 1.15m lux at a distance of 20m. The motorised zoom covers a range from 0.38° to 12.5° (wash effect up to 40°), ensuring high visibility for long-throw applications at large outdoor festivals or creating immersive wash effects on theatre stages.
Colour mixing in the tarm Revolt is achieved through a full CMY system. It is further enhanced by colour wheels offering a total of 17 colours plus white, four multi-colour filters, and a gradual CTO filter. For gobo projection, the Revolt is equipped with two gobo wheels. The first wheel includes 25 static gobos plus an open position, while the second wheel provides 12 rotating glass effects and glass gobos, also with an open position. Both gobo wheels feature a shake function.
For seamless integration into existing lighting setups, the moving head supports DMX512, Art-Net, sACN, and RDM protocols. A W-DMX receiver is also integrated for wireless control, allowing lighting designers to effortlessly incorporate the Revolt into their established and preferred workflows.
The Revolt's housing is constructed from a magnesium-aluminium alloy (Magnalium) and features an IP66 rating, protecting it against the ingress of water and dust. A custom-fitted flight case is included with the unit.
