Exhibiting alongside Nexo, Yamaha is showing the new TF Series V4.0 firmware. This adds a number of enhancements, including a Selected Channel View for even more intuitive, efficient operation, scene fade time function for added for scene management flexibility (particularly in theatrical applications), additional mute groups, expanded support for DZR-D and DXS-XLF-D series speakers and an extensive selection of new QuickPro Presets for a variety of microphones, in-ear monitors and speakers. The TF StageMix iPad app has also been updated.

Germany - At Prolight+Sound, L-Acoustics announced the immediate availability of new versions of Soundvision, its 3D simulation software, and its amplified controller real time control and monitoring software LA Network Manager. Soundvision 3.1.0 and LA Network Manager 2.7.0 feature advanced autosolver tools to simplify, accelerate, and improve system optimization from system design to operation.
Soundvision, introduced in 2004, was the pro audio industry’s first 3D modelling software capable of accurately predicting audio coverage and system performance in real time. The building covers 20 hectares and is designed to welcome 120,000 faithful. Its 270m minaret is the highest building in Africa and the world's tallest minaret. UK - Opened in 1894, the Grand Theatre Wolverhampton is one of the city’s finest examples of Victorian architecture. Next year will see it celebrate its 125th anniversary and whilst much of its original façade remains intact, its technical infrastructure has undergone significant upgrades, most recently with a visually discrete yet powerful K-array KY102 PA and DiGiCo’s latest SD12 digital mixing console, provided by specialist installer, integrator and reseller Stage Electrics.
The origins of the project date back to the end of 2017, when the theatre’s head of lighting and sound Anthony Aston and Mark Ryal, associate director technical services, contacted Stage Electrics’ audio division and spoke to audio specialist Jamie Gosney to discuss a new sound system.
