Designed for the demanding requirements of stadiums and concert venues, where high impact, high fidelity, and high SPLs are all needed, the Danley J3-94 delivers 142dB of continuous output using eighteen drivers that combine using Danley's patented technologies to produce a single phase-coherent signal with "home hi-fi quality" intelligibility and musical impact.

USA - Powersoft continues its Xperience the Power roadshow series with two Los Angeles-based events demonstrating its M-Force linear motor technology, along with several of its other industry-leading power amplification technologies. UK - Artistic Licence, inventor of the Art-Net ethernet lighting control protocol, is celebrating a win for Art-Net 4 at the 2016 PLASA Awards for Innovation ceremony.

The judges noted that Art-Net continually evolves to support the back-bone of production technology, incorporating complementary protocols with full backwards compatibility.

Wayne Howell, CEO of Artistic Licence and the inventor of Art-Net, comments, "I released the first version of Art-Net over 15 years ago in response to a pressing industry need. USA - At the 141st AES Convention this week, Sennheiser and Neumann will highlight a wide range of new and legacy microphones for various recording applications. Recently introduced models will include the Collectors' Edition U 47 fet and versatile TLM 107 from Neumann, as well as the new MK 4 digital and the upcoming AMBEO VR Mic from Sennheiser. The topic of VR and AR also takes centre stage at the AES's AVAR Conference, which Sennheiser will be involved with.

A full complement of classic recording microphones will also be on display: From Neumann, this will be the U87 Ai, TLM 67, KM 184 and several other recording staples. UK - September has been a busy month on the road for The Prolight Concepts Group. Recently returning from PLASA 2016 where they exhibited a multitude of exciting new products which proved proving extremely popular.

USA - The 141st AES Convention, taking place from 29 September 29 through 2 October at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, is hosting exclusive demonstrations of L-Acoustics' newly launched Kiva II ultra-compact line source, as well as the KS28 reference subwoofer and X Series of coaxial enclosures.

These demos will also showcase L-Acoustics' latest developments on the open standard Audio Video Bridging/Time Sensitive Networking (AVB/TSN) technology.

UK - ProLights received a great reception to their latest product line-up showcased on the A.C. Entertainment Technologies stand at PLASA 2016. Highlights included the ArenaCOB LED blinder, as used on Coldplay's recent stadium tour, and the stunning new Stark1000 LED Wash Light.

The ProLights ArenaCOB4 IP65 LED blinder family were supplied to leading rental company Lite Alternative, for the European leg of Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams stadium tour. UK - PLASA London 2016 proved to be the best UK show yet for Current RMS. The new venue, Olympia, in central London made the event much more accessible, helping play a part in such a busy stand for Current RMS. The team were flat out, providing demos of the online hire management system, on a range of devices, across all three days of the event.

Also helping contribute to a busy stand was the buzz around all of the new features released within the system since last year's show. These included; Free Scan, an easy process to add additional items to a job, a new Costing Module, helping log all job costs and summarise projected profitability, as well as Part Invoicing and an Open API allowing rental businesses to create exciting integrations.

The combination of the demo areas that showcased new products from Clay Paky and Ayrton Lighting and the enthusiastic hospitality of the whole Ambersphere team proved a real winner, attracting a constant stream of visitors - customers both old and new.
