A 300w asymmetrical cyclorama, the Dalis 860 is designed to give smooth, powerful coverage. UK - Doughty Engineering's new Space Saver will take centre stage on stand C30 at ABTT this week, along with a new Pole Operated Yoke and Atom G Clamp.
The Space Saver, which has already proven to be a huge hit, is a piece of kit which allows a clamp or spigot to be permanently fitted to a luminaire or projector. "When our Space Saver made its initial debut in a demo video posted on Facebook a few months ago, we were amazed at the response," said Mark Chorley, design engineer at Doughty.
"It quickly received more than 35,000 views and the novelty hasn't worn off – since it officially launched earlier this year, it's been a major crowd pleaser at trade shows and we expect no less at ABTT. The Netherlands - Previewed to a very positive response at ProLight+Sound in April, Alcons has launched the LR28/110 Wide Dispersion Larger Format Line Array - a three-way, line-source sound system for use as vertical array with extended horizontal coverage in up to the largest applications.
The roots of the LR28 system go back to Alcons’ foundation in 2002 and the fledgling company’s aim of delivering the best possible sound reproduction in any application at any sound pressure level. The Alcons R&D team already had over 15 years’ experience in signal processing, amplifier technology and transducer development, with particular focus on pro-ribbon technology.
