USA - Country star Megan Moroney has launched her much-anticipated 2025 tour, featuring a bold and theatrical production designed by Cort Lawrence of Raw Cereal, powered by Bandit Lites.
“Megan Moroney’s 2025 tour embraces the bold and emotional Am I Okay blue, with creative direction from CeCe Dawson setting the tone for a show full of sparkle, glam, and surprises,” shared Lawrence. “I designed the production and lighting to reflect that spirit and highlight the connection Megan brings to her fans.”
The production features an 8ft-tall set with two winding staircases lined with Martin VDO Sceptrons and topped with custom heart pieces that add theatrical flair and create unforgettable moments. A hidden centre reveal delivers one of the tour’s most dramatic visuals, silhouetting Moroney with a Martin Mac Viper in front of a massive upstage video wall and portrait IMAG screens, while High End SolaPix 19s beneath add dynamic pixel effects.
“The lighting design balanced theatrical mood with cinematic energy,” Lawrence explained. “Claypaky X Frames with custom heart gobos added textured patterns, GLP X4 Bar 20s cast bold sheets of light across the blue sparkle softgoods, and Solaris Flare Q+ fixtures delivered bursts of colour during Megan’s high-energy songs. Tim Keller’s programming tied it all together with fluid, musical precision.”
In addition to the lighting, Lawrence’s team at Raw Cereal also created custom screen content, weaving playful and story-driven visuals into the performance. With Bandit Lites supplying the rig and strong support from Bandit’s Mike Stanley, the collaboration brought Lawrence’s design vision to life.
“With Bandit Lites supplying the rig, the production came together as a true collaboration, giving Megan’s fans an experience that felt both fun and unforgettable,” Lawrence added.
Bandit Lites chair Michael T. Strickland discovered Megan in 2022 and has been working with her ever since. “Sometimes you see an artist and you know they have ‘it’,” says Strickland. “I saw in Megan exactly what I saw in Garth, Urban, and Shinedown. You knew for the first moment they would be huge.”
