USA - Tomcat USA was an executive producer of the 2011 Region 6 Kennedy Centre American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) that took place recently in Amarillo, Texas. Hundreds of students came from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri and New Mexico to participate in the festival. Design, technology and stage management students had an opportunity to showcase their work and receive outside assessment by KCACTF respondents.

Croatia - Parni Valjak was founded in 1975 and is a Croatian and former Yugoslav rock band. They were one of the top acts of the former Yugoslav Rock scene, and currently one of the top bands in Croatia. They have been followed by many loyal fans and have released 16 studio and five live albums, plus eight compilations releases.

In December 2005 they celebrated their 30th birthday and at the same time they made a farewell tour with gigs in Croatia and Slovenia. Their last performance in 2005 was at New Year's Eve in Ban Jela?i? Square in Zagreb.

They recently played reunion concerts at the Belgrade Arena where the sound was the large RCF TT+ High Definition Touring and Theatre supplied by three different rental companies - Promologistika from Croatia, BBA Agregati from Montenegro and Track-Copy from Hungary, and they all brought their TTL55A + TTS56A.

Installed by Schalldruck of Berlin, the sound system for the relatively intimate (13m x 4.4m) Panorama Bar features a pair of JM-1P loudspeakers in each corner of the dance floor. Visceral bass saturates the space from two hidden stacks of three-each 600-HP subwoofers, while an L-C-R system with three UPA-2P loudspeakers and a 500-HP subwooferprovides DJ monitoring. USA - Built in 1850-1852 on land donated by American Revolutionary War General Thomas Sumter, the Church of the Holy Cross is recognised as a National Historic Landmark, with Bavarian-made stained glass windows and one of the few original Henry Erben pipe organs in existence in the United States. The church is the burial site of former US Ambassador Joel Roberts Poinsett, botanist and namesake of the poinsettia.

The church walls were constructed by a technique known as "rammed earth" which creates a structure that is durable and holds excellent thermal characteristics. And in fact the building has survived an earthquake, tornados, and hurricanes. It was termite damage to the wooden parts of the building that ultimately required restoration of the church.

UAE - Dubai-based Al Laith Event Services devised a lateral and highly inventive motion control solution for tracking two 30m sections of Lighthouse L7 LED screen across a distance of 140m for the Opening Ceremony of the 2011 IDEX (International Defence) Exhibition. The exhibition was at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), and Al Laith's client was the OC show producers, RedFilo Events from Abu Dhabi with its headquarters based in Singapore.

The challenge was that the tracking system had to be able to withstand 104km per hour down-currents from helicopters hovering just 40m above - not exactly an everyday requirement, and one that rendered most of the known entertainment automation systems inappropriate.
