USA - UK manufacturer Optimal Audio has announced the appointment of Allied ProTech as its USA distributor.
Optimal Audio is part of  Focusrite plc. It manufactures a one-stop solution of controllers, amplifiers and loudspeakers for small to medium sized commercial installations.
Based in Orange County, California, and founded by industry veteran Rik Kirby, Allied ProTech is a pro audio and AV technology distributor working to simplify the challenge of bringing international brands to the US market.

Stagepas 100 expands Yamaha’s new family of compact portable PAs, joining the Stagepas 200, which was launched earlier this year. The mission for Yamaha designers was to help performers turn almost any location into a small live stage. Europe - American metalcore band The Ghost Inside has concluded their European tour, marking their first bus tour in the region since a tragic accident they faced back in 2015. Spanning over a month, the tour revolved around the Impericon Festivals, with a week of shows in the UK followed by a series of sold-out performances in Germany alongside acts including Bury Tomorrow, Thy Art Is Murder, Sondaschule, and Future Palace.
Front of House engineer Bryan Greenberg chose to work with an Allen & Heath dLive system to ensure The Ghost Inside's electrifying performances would captivate audiences with high-quality immersive sound. The FOH setup featured a dLive CTi1500 control surface and CDM32 MixRack provided by rental company Solotech.

Vietnam - After a three-year hiatus, the 2023 Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2023) has returned.

Throughout the tour, the band’s sound is immersing the entire audience - at full bandwidth across a broad stereo landscape - through a Meyer Sound system comprising a record 288 Panther large-format linear line array loudspeakers.

USA - Funktion-One rental partner Nomad Sound Systems installed the largest ever deployment of Vero and Vero VX for Creator Clash 2.0 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
The celebrity influencer boxing event welcomed 30,000 spectators to the arena and thousands more viewers around the world who tuned in for the PPV broadcast, with the winners’ prize money going to their chosen charities.
Creator Clash’s producers selected Nomad Sound System as the audio supplier, explained company founder Leo Eckersdorff: “A friend of mine based in New York reached out as he was the producer of this event and wanted to have an audio partner local to Florida that he could trust. France - The D-Day Museum at Arromanches-les-Bains on the Northern French coast has chosen Panasonic projectors to illustrate the activity before, during, and after the historic Normandy landings, bringing the events of 1944 to life like never before through multiple immersive and interactive experiences.
The newly re-built museum, working alongside AV integrator Auvisys, needed innovative, quiet and reliable projectors to bring the events of 1944 to life in four key areas of the exhibition. This included an auditorium, video mural, projection mapping and virtual reality projections. UK - Based in Cardiff’s landmark Wales Millennium Centre, Welsh National Opera (WNO) is one of the most prolific operatic ensembles in the UK, with a national and international touring schedule that consists of an average of 120 performances per year. The five-storey building is particularly focused on enriching the lives of children and young people in the area through the arts and is heavily utilised by students of the local Örebro University; however, the building is also open for public use as well.
