Dimension has purchased six Q1 tops and six subs, along with six D12 digital amplifiers, purpose designed to power the system. USA - CMX Las Vegas Studios of Nevada has purchased six Drawmer DL241 auto compressors and four Drawmer DS201 dual noise gates for use in live reinforcement. UK - Audient Group has added another member to their sales team - 22 year-old Ross McFarlane. Originally from Glasgow, McFarlane recently graduated from the BA (Hons) Sound Technology course at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), just two years after UK sales manager Nick Pemberton. "My time at LIPA has really helped me see the audio and performing arts industries as a whole. It's a fantastic course and has shown me the ropes in many of the fields inhabited by Audient and LA Audio, so I will be able to communicate with our customers at their level," explains McFarlane, who will fill the role of product specialist, answering technical queries and providing support for both the Audient and LA Audio product ranges.

UK - Essex-based Xtreme Audio Visual has installed an audio package from Fuzion in The Elbow Room, Notting Hill, part of a highly successful chain of pool bars and club venues around the UK. The system comprises a pair of Nexo PS10 full-range cabinets, three pairs of Nexo PS8 compact cabinets and Crown CE1000 amplifiers. In addition to pool tables, The Elbow Room has a bar and dance floor area which has just been fitted with a portable DJ booth for use at weekends. The PS10s provide the dance floor with enough level, while the PS8s are used around the pool tables.
