Germany - GLP has earmarked Prolight+Sound for the first official showing of its impression S350. Offering a feature set in the mid-range class, visitors will have the opportunity to see it in action at the GLP booth.
The S350’s white light LED-engine with full spectrum creates saturated and pastel colours as well as lively colours and skin tones with optimized colour rendering (CRI of 96), With this core, the impression S350 is delivering bright clarity in the projected beam with less than a 15% drop in output within the zoom range.
The other outstanding feature is the four-blade framing. Each blade of the framing system can be adjusted in angle by ±30° and in position from 0-100% for pointed triangles and complete blackouts. Germany - Prolight + Sound 2018 sees DiGiCo showcase the working debut of its new Quantum 7 processing, as well as the new 32bit DAC, the 4REA4 digital audio networking system, L-ISA Source Control, and significant new features for DiGiCo SD consoles.
Quantum 7 has been developed with seventh generation FPGA devices that further expand audio processing power, and ultimately allows DiGiCo to provide its users with an unrivalled amount of flexibility. It expands an SD7 to over 600 channels of processing in 96kHz operation that can be connected in the outside world to approaching 3000 potential I/Os. Germany - France-based Amadeus has debuted a new hardware processor system, Holophonix, designed for live sound spatialization and immersive experiences.
The Holophonix processor brings together several different spatialization techniques including Wave Field Synthesis, High-Order Ambisonics, Distance-Based Amplitude Panning, and more, enabling intuitive placement and movement of sources in a 2D and/or 3D space, says the company.

Germany - At the end of a record-breaking year, GLP is set to blast off into the new season with a quartet of solutions for all applications.
These four fixtures will either preview, or enjoy European premieres at Frankfurt Prolight+Sound. They line-up alongside establishing luminaires where the combined fixture count will be well over 1000 items.

USA - As part of a worldwide rollout that began with the English release in September 2017, global design and BIM software developer Vectorworks, Inc. has announced the release of the Chinese version of its Vectorworks 2018 software line, which includes Vectorworks Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Designer and Fundamentals, as well as BraceworksTM, a structural load analysis add-on module.
