“We recognised the potential of the new generation of LEDs that Osram is developing, so we made a commitment to updating our fixtures to incorporate this technological advance,” said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet.
Drawing on this new technology, the Rogue R2X Wash is almost twice as bright as the Rogue R2 Wash when producing a single colour, and 20-perecent brighter at full output. USA - Audio Precision has introduced the PDM 16 module for the APx500 Series audio analysers. The new module offers simultaneous acquisition and measurement of up to 16 channels of PDM signals, making it the highest channel-count solution available for MEMS microphone and MEMS mic array testing, says the company.
PDM 16 is an optional interface module for the APx555, APx52x Series or APx58x Series audio analysers. Comprised of the input module installed in the analyser, a remote interface pod and an extension cable, the module provides sample-accurate inter-channel phase information, critical data for the creation of MEMS mic arrays. The Netherlands - Odin Audio Systems has introduced two two-way active side-fill speakers- SF-12A and SF-15A.
The loudspeakers have been introduced to make the Odin Line array set-ups more flexible, giving sound engineers the ability to expand the set-up to the live stage.
The SF-12A and SF-15A speakers have been engineered according to the already existing Odin-blueprint. They are equipped with Celestion speakers, DSP modules, roadproof enclosures and produce “full range, crystal clear sounds”.

This LED wash fixture is described as a versatile lighting tool designed for professional touring and one-off event production as well as for permanent installation in large nightclubs, concert venues and houses of worship.
The Vizi Wash Z37 features variable motorized zoom, allowing for a beam angle of between 10° and 60°. This wide zoom range means that the same fixture can be used to saturate large areas of a stage or crowd with vibrant colour washes as well as spotlight specific performers or features. Europe - Area Four Industries reports that owing to popular demand by customers, the new Xstage S10 stage deck tops are now available in two surface finishes – Hexagrip or black paint. Both surface options are available on all shapes and sizes of the S10 deck.
The indoor/outdoor, non-slip Hexagrip surface was launched together with the new S10 last year and is mounted on its 12mm birch plywood top. Increased traction is provided during demanding performances and even when wet.
The black painted surface is another popular option that comes on the S10’s 12mm poplar plywood top. This finish is also water resistant for safe use both indoors and outdoors. An advantage with this finish is that it can be repainted at the end of each season, or from time to time during the year, to cover up scratches and abrasions.
