Germany - The current system update of DirectOut’s Prodigy series gives the devices another boost in meeting the requirements of the market. For the modular audio converter Prodigy.MC and the multifunctional audio processor Prodigy.MP the Automator Licence is now available.
With Automator it is possible to programme triggers to run tasks in an automated way. Triggers can be coming from different sources, such as parameter or status changes in the device itself, a MIDI or OSC command from an external device, a cron job (periodically recurring trigger) or can be created based on time (e.g. LTC).
Device actions such as gains, mutes, snapshot recalls, input manager switches and EARSTM source selection or GPOs can be triggered. And it is also possible to send custom defined messages via OSC and MIDI, or to hosts via HTTP, UDP, TCP commands.

Germany - Studio specialist Neumann.Berlin expands its line of reference-class studio monitors with the KH 150. The bi-amplified, DSP-controlled loudspeaker features the same high-resolution tweeter as all Neumann studio monitors and a newly developed 6.5” woofer with ultra-low distortion and high SPL capability.

Europe - MA Lighting has now released the grandMA3 software version 1.8. The upgrade represents “massive workflow improvements and new functionalities”. These include New workflow for symmetrical movements, Selection Grid tools, multipatch, additional store modes and reworked update menu.
In addition, a number of existing features are taken to the next level. The DMX tester gets encoder bar control and the entire grandMA3 system can be set up offline with the help of device configurations. XYZ programming gets more powerful than it ever was. grandMA3 version 1.8 introduces the possibility of fading between MArkers and even between XYZ and Pan/Tilt positions in the same sequence.
