Europe - Integrated Systems Events, the producers of the Integrated Systems Europe exhibition, has announced that its 2021 edition will be held at Gran Via, part of the Fira de Barcelona exhibition complex in Spain on 2-5 February.
The new venue will become the permanent location for the AV and systems integration show.
An ISE statement says, “The decision to relocate the ISE exhibition comes after 18 months of research into the viability of remaining at the RAI Amsterdam. With annual growth in ISE exhibitors and attendees approaching 10%, and the international AV market forecast to grow by 5% per annum through to 2021, it was concluded that ISE was outgrowing its popular Amsterdam location.
“ISE 2018 attracted 80,923 attendees, of which 22,000 were visiting the show for the first time while 1,296 exhibitors filled 53,000 net sqm of floor space in 15 halls.

USA - The ESTA Control Protocols Plugfest organizers announced that a live, informal round-table discussion will be made available to the public via a free WebEx video conference. A discussion of sACN Universe Synchronization will be broadcast live on Sunday 22 July from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 P.M., CDT.
The Universe Synchronization feature was recently added to ESTA’s ANSI E1.31, Lightweight streaming protocol for transport of DMX512 using ACN standard. Universe Sync allows the output of multiple universes of DMX512 data coming from a sACN controller to be synchronized together. This eliminates issues such as image tearing and out of sync strobes within arrays of LED fixtures across multiple universes.

Germany - At Stage|Set|Scenery, which will take place from 18 to 20 June 2019 in Berlin, event industry start-ups can present their products to expert international audiences, establish important business contacts and secure new markets. They will benefit from attractive rates, say the organisers.
At Stage|Set|Scenery 2019 companies which have been on the market for up to three years will pay a net flat rate of 1,250 euros. Services covered by this fee include a stand occupying 7.5sq.m, construction of the stand, furniture, carpeting, electricity, exhibitor IDs, AUMA fees and a media package.
Stage|Set|Scenery takes place every two years on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Last year, some promising start-ups were already in attendance. FRAMED immersive projects GmbH & Co. KG, for example, which gave a live presentation of the usomo sound installation at the SoundLab.

USA - Allen & Heath’s SQ-7 digital mixer won the Best of Show award the 2018 InfoComm Show.
The prize was awarded by NewBay Media’s Pro Audio Group, who highlighted the desk’s technical performance, value, versatility and reliability.

USA - Celebrating its third year of exhibiting at InfoComm, Current RMS demonstrated its rental management software to all that came by stand C1510 over the three days.
Since last year’s show, Current RMS has released a number of new features, showing that it’s expanding as per the changing needs of the industry the cloud-based software was built for.
