The installation was carried out by FSD Electronics. Their technical staff, led by Andreas Loizou, chose the D.A.S. Variant and Reference systems to properly set up the resorts various lounges and restaurants.

USA - Wireless Solution Sweden once again joined the lively crowd of Coachella, California's fastest growing music festival.

The three-day Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival held 16-18 April in Indio, California near Palm Springs used the W-DMX system to achieve otherwise impossible cabling for an event of this size.

The production company for the site lighting at Coachella was Visions Lighting of Placentia California run by Todd Roberts. The system consisted of a single W-DMX BlackBox S-1 transmitter and 20 receivers controlling 20 7kW Falcon moving lights from A&0. The lights were mounted on 30ft towers, surrounding the festival area. An 8dBi omni antenna was at the transmitter, and each receiver had a 24dBi grid antenna. The longest distance was 2033ft.

Qatar - Athletes from 150 countries competed in the IAAF World Indoor Championship held in Doha, Qatar recently. A total of 1,134 athletes and officials attended what was the IAAF's most important event of the 2010 World Athletics Series.

The event was held at the Aspire Dome, credited as the world's largest indoor multi-purpose dome, offering the highest quality facilities for multiple sports and international events.

Show News - InfoComm International reports that InfoComm 2010, the annual conference and exhibition for professional audiovisual buyers and sellers held 9-11 June in Las Vegas, Nevada, was "the second largest commercial AV show ever held", with 32,002 AV professionals attending from more than 90 countries.

Randal A. Lemkee executive director & CEO, InfoComm International says: "The AV marketplace has enthusiastically embraced InfoComm as the place to make their purchasing choices, network with product and service providers, and enhance skills through our robust educational programme."

Since the dance floor rolls are 150 cm wide, the print had first to be divided over these panels at just the right spot. Then, after printing, came the intricate work of matching up all the panels on the stage and attaching them without visible seams.

In total, eleven FLM HD14 and three RLM W6 projectors are responsible for all video projections inside the pavilion.

The Finnish pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is called Kirnu (Giant's Kettle). Its gorge-like shape reminds visitors of ravines found in Lapland and leads them through a peaceful visual, illuminated and aural experience, disconnecting them from the hectic expo environment. The pavilion is a miniature city, presenting both Finland and its society to the world.
