"We needed to upgrade our old desk in both quality and capacity, especially as the company relies heavily on live music in performance. The Harbour Bay has been extensively refurbished by owners George and Jane McAlpine, who operate two other outlets - the Ramore wine bar and Coast Italiano - which share the stunning location. Now the Harbour Bar also presents live music and AV programming in its lounge-bar environment. The group, which comprises bass player Jimmy Haslip, saxophonist Bob Mintzer, keyboard player Russell Ferrante and new drummer Marcus Baylor, emerged in 1977 in the course of sessions for a Robben Ford album. International market leaders in the field of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle production and labelling, Krones AG, took over an entire hall at the popular exhibition, central to which was a striking and dynamic two storey construction known as the Think Tower. Used as a meeting and business centre, the tower was clad with 288 1m x 1m PhantomFrames, creating almost 300sq.m of video and moving graphics.
