Germany - Germany-based manufacturer axxent will introduce a new one-channel, 400W amplifier in a 2U, 19" chassis at the forthcoming ProLight&Sound exhibition in Frankfurt (12-15 March 2008).

The amplifier features a low impedance output, as well as 50/70/100V constant voltage outputs. The outputs may be used simultaneously as long as the total of 400W loudspeaker load is not exceeded, say the company.

Under normal working conditions, the amplifier operates quietly, benefiting from its passive convection cooling. When the maximum performance is required and its passive cooling ribs exceed a given temperature, a quiet and controlled fan aids the cooling system. This feature makes the AX-1400T power amplifier an ideal choice for churches and other noise-sensitive applications
