The Netherlands - Vivitek has introduced the DU4371Z-ST short throw laser projector. With a screen size of up to 278 inches and a brightness of 5,100 lumens with WUXGA resolution, this new device is suitable for almost all demanding applications and environments - from conference rooms, to universities, galleries and museums, says the company.

At a distance of three metres, it can still deliver a razor-sharp projection with a diagonal image of 278 inches.

Bandit Lites is providing a lighting package for Shane’s virtual concerts which are being live streamed on radio stations around the country.
Lighting designer Keith Hoagland crafted a lighting design that would translate on camera and computer screens all the while matching the energy of soulful vocals, rollicking guitar tones and pounding beat.
Hoagland chose iWhite LED fixtures as the key lights due to their dual warm and cool colour temperatures. Color Chorus 48 units, with their lower power consumption and bright output were utilised. Six P

USA - During the construction of The Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Centre at Auburn University, Alabama, Taylor Dyleski, director of production, was searching for a coms partner to deploy and install an intercom solution for the large indoor/outdoor space.

“With Pliant being a local manufacturer, they came down to the construction site and we walked around the bare-bones, concrete building, taking measurements and readings, to figure out how much product we would need to build a dependable, full-coverage coms system,” says Dyleski. “Not only does Pliant offer a solution that fits our current ne

UK - Chris Hale is working out of his garage in Ashford, Kent. Ritchie Reed is 180 miles away in Nottingham. Yet, both are coming together (virtually) every day to offer a valuable service to designers, programmers, event specialists, and integrators with their 30-minute Chauvet Online Demo Sessions.
Working in tandem, the two lighting professionals take a holistic approach to their educational sessions, which air daily at 10am BST, demonstrating fixtures in a way that reflects how they are actually used in real world applications. For example, rather than showcase one fixture in isolation, they will look at paired fixtures, such as the Maverick MK3 Profile and Maverick MK3 Wash; or Rogue Outcast Hybrid IP65 and Rogue Outcast Beam IP65.
“For us, it makes more sense to look at fixtures from the perspective of how they are going to work together in real life,” said

Pantos Postponed - Four of London’s biggest pantomimes have become the latest major productions to postpone their 2020 performances amid ongoing uncertainty from government about reopening.
The Hackney Empire’s annual show will not take place this year, neither will pantomimes at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East and the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, which will not be staging a pantomime for the first time in nearly 70 years. Last year, the four pantomimes attracted audiences of more than 145,000 and typically employ over 280 freelancers.
A joint statement from the four venues said: "The production process for such a large-scale show as panto would have begun at the start of August. Without an announced date from the government on when theatre performances can resume without social distancing, making a panto economically viable, these thea

USA - Love Joy Church has been serving the spiritual needs of its Buffalo, New York congregants since the early 1980s. It has grown considerably from its modest living-room-based, Bible-Study roots and today occupies a 600-person sanctuary in Lancaster, a suburb of Buffalo.
Love Joy’s upbeat services and talented praise band are the heart and soul of its diverse ministerial activities. Local AV design and integration firm TSH Audio fixed the problem with new Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers and subwoofers that leverage Tom Danley’s patented designs to deliver speech and music that is clear and impactful.
“The existing sound system at Love Joy Church was dated and the design didn’t work for the space from the start,” explained
